How much room do you have to sell?
Recorded retail value − wholesale asking price. That is room to price competitively and negotiate, before transport, reconditioning, and selling costs.
Acquisition target: greater than $3,000Both differences use the same wholesale asking price—not our private acquisition cost. They answer different questions about the deal, and neither promises profit or loan approval.

Acquisition target: greater than $3,000JD Power Clean Trade-In − wholesale asking price. Buying below that reference can give you more room to move on the customer’s price. Each lender chooses its own values and advance limits.

An independent dealer is deciding on a car while the phone rings and a title run is waiting. National operators have teams and software to evaluate more cars and control what they pay. We built our tools for our own lot in Daytona Beach, then opened up the numbers so you can make your own call.

Confirm title, reconditioning, transport, and the displayed Green Light window for that VIN. The current window starts at our original purchase.
Two units are initially offered at $11,995 and both have a $9,000 JD Power Clean Trade-In value. Assume the lender advances 115% of that value and tax, tag, and fees total $1,100. You bought one for $7,000 and the other for $9,000.
| The number | Bought at $7,000 | Bought at $9,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Clean trade equity at purchase | +$2,000 | $0 |
| Initial asking price | $11,995 | $11,995 |
| Price plus tax, tag, and fees | $13,095 | $13,095 |
| Illustrative advance: 115% of $9,000 | $10,350 | $10,350 |
| Cash down at initial asking price | $2,745 | $2,745 |
| Sale price holding exactly $3,000 gross | $10,000 | $12,000 |
| Cash down at that price | $750 | $2,750 |
The advance never changed. What changed is how far you can move and still make money.
Calculation: $10,000 + $1,100 − $10,350 = $750. At $11,995, the $9,000 unit holds $2,995 gross, not $3,000. This illustration excludes dealer reconditioning and other costs. Valuation, advance limits, and approval vary by lender, program, and customer.
CFPB: how loan-to-value worksThese are acquisition criteria. Cards show available evidence and spreads at the current asking price; a listing does not replace a final review of the VIN.
A score is a starting point, not an inspection. Review announcements, recorded lights, diagnostic codes, inspection date, and previous run count. Missing evidence needs follow-up.
The buying screen rejects red light/as-is units, non-running vehicles, more than 30 prior runs, inspections at least 30 days old, title or odometer problems, rental history, deployed airbags, major damage, tow, total loss, salvage, flood, fire, and actual frame or structural damage.
Active leaks; major engine, transmission, drivetrain, or differential issues; emissions failures; inoperative infotainment; warm or inoperative AC; hail; biohazard; and headliner defects are hard-screen concerns. A favorable spread does not erase a condition problem.
Read the full CARFAX report and match the VIN. For acquisition, use a documented Buy Now, confirmed floor, displayed offer range, or live bid. An unpriced Make Offer button or wholesale estimate is not an executable purchase price.
The acquisition target is retail spread greater than $3,000 and JD Power Clean Trade-In equity of at least $1,000, with $2,000 or more preferred. Exactly $3,000 does not pass the retail target. Current cards recalculate the differences at our wholesale ask.
Review the latest condition, history, evidence, and economics before purchase. Confirm open items, title, arrival, reconditioning, and sale terms with the team. Do not assume unavailable information is favorable.
Request wholesale updates and tell us what you are looking for. Our team will verify your dealer details and follow up about availability and updates. Browsing the list is always free.

These are recent DriveWide purchases, offered to other independent dealers. Wholesale is another way to move inventory while we manage what goes onto our own retail line.
Call or send the VIN to arrange an inspection at 1312 LPGA Blvd in Daytona Beach. Confirm that the specific car has arrived and is ready for your visit before traveling.
Confirm title status and release timing for the specific VIN with our team. A listed purchase is not, by itself, proof that its title is ready for transfer.
We show an Above clean trade badge and the negative equity amount. A lender may use its own book value and advance limits rather than the price you paid. Review the economics for your lender and customer.
The available records include Manheim purchase and condition information, CARFAX history and retail values, CarbLy retail values, and JD Power Clean Trade-In values. Each retail source is labeled. Missing information stays marked as unavailable.
No. Retail spread is the recorded retail value minus our wholesale asking price. Clean trade equity is JD Power Clean Trade-In minus that same asking price. Both are before your transport, reconditioning, financing, and selling costs.
Do not treat a listing as a substitute for reviewing its evidence. Check the condition information, history, current spreads, and any open items. Our buying targets are explained in the underwriting standards; acquisition economics can differ from the current wholesale offer.
Choose Inquire / Buy, enter your dealer details, and send your question or intent to buy. You receive a confirmation email and our team receives an alert. We then confirm availability, price, credentials, and sale arrangements. The request does not take payment or reserve the car.
The current offer uses a 10-calendar-day window from DriveWide’s original purchase date. The remaining time is shown for each vehicle. It does not restart when you inquire or buy; confirm applicable terms before purchase.
